Colin Devroe released this WordPress Comment Moderation plugin based on the age of the post.

What does it do? After a little reading, some IRCing in #wordpress, I present to you a WordPress Plugin which allows you to automatically turn comment moderation on for posts that are older than 7 days. This “duration� can be changed simply by calculating the amount of seconds in your desired length of time. This means that if someone, or something, comments on a post that is older than your desired length of time, then you will have to manually approve the comment. If the post is younger than your desired length of time, the post is approved immediately.
