WordPress Plugin: Condensed Content for Date and Category Archives

With this plugin, archives only display the first 30 words of an entry in order to prevent large date or category archive pages.

Does anyone know how to make the condensed content conform to the CSS of the main page? This plug in by default strips HTML from the condensed version, and now my archives look different than the main page. I want it to look like one of my regular posts, just shorter.
