Yahoo! News - Spyware Snags Blogger Users
Dozens of blogs hosted by Google Inc.’s Blogger service can install programs that are widely considered to be spyware and adware onto visitors’ computers, warn users and spyware researchers. In many cases, users are discovering the offending sites as they browse among blogs through Blogger’s navigation bar.

1That’s really not all that big of a surprise. If you can put these things up on a regular website, you can certainly put them up on Blogger. Should Google do something to prevent it? :shrug: I suppose, but then I would suspect that others Blogger, namely TypePad and LiveJournal should also be considering the same measures.
Blogger has had tons of problems with people setting up sites for referral spamming and comment spamming. This is just another way evil doer’s can muck-up a generally good thing.
