Kanoodle’s BrightAds Testing

I signed up for Kanoodle’s BrightAds and was recently accepted. I have added the BrightAds RSS feed which is supposed to only add two RSS spots per 24 hours to my feed.
The ads are supposed to be content specific too so I’m hoping it works out. It would be nice to pay my hosting bills from advertising revenue. Let me know if you see something out of the ordinary.
Update: Some idiot wrote me the this evening:
Cut the s*** with the stupid RSS ads popping up every half hour.
No return email address and no name included. Just a cowardly email.
Some people just can’t understand that the content they read everyday doesn’t come out of no where. It comes out of our free time. Time which we could have been spent earning money. I don’t mind ads. In fact, I do my best to click at least one ad at every site I regularly visit, at least once a day. Why? Because I like the content, and I want to see it continue. Perhaps your anonymous emailer would rather see you drop this blog than post ads. But, if that’s the case, why doesn’t he just drop his subscription? Most people have a difficult time grasping the “no money, no content” concept. However, you have been generous enough to add an alternative into the loop. You don’t have to give up money for content on this site. Here, you only have to tolerate one ad every twelve hours, and perhaps click on it when you feel inspired to do so. I was raised thinking that the greedy people of this world were the ones who took everything. Now I’m learning that the true greedy people of this world are the ones who refuse to give anything, even when “give” is analogous to “tolerate one ad every twelve hours, and perhaps click on it when you feel inspired to do so”. It’s a sad world, but at least I support your decision 100%.
I just noticed your Knoodle ads are not displaying on the entry below this one. It only shows a grey box.
Good luck with the ads and keep us posted how they work out. As I wrote previously I was trying the Blogmine ads but gave up due to them screwing up the RSS feeds and extreme lack of support to even answer the simpleist question.
Marc, I removed them for now because it was messing up my feed. I noticed that my feed kept regenerating the list of posts. I need to contact Kanoodle and see what the story is.
