What’s with every WordPress user publishing his/her template as a theme now? 99% of these themes are horrible looking…

    its for the theme contest…

I’m assuming that Jeremiah and Vidar don’t like my theme, but I would like to thank bloggingpro for linking to it. I’ve gotten a great response from the people who’ve downloaded it. I like it (I’m biased) and it works for my purposes. I’d suggest to anyone who doesn’t like the themes they find online to build their own. :-)

Actually I kind of like it. The only thing that I would change about it, personally, are the drop down menus. I prefer text links for categories and pages but that’s a pretty easy tweak.

As far as making my own, well, I wish that I knew how but I’m rather new to WordPress in general. :)

Thanks for the kind words, Mysk. Creating your own theme isn’t that hard, you just have to know what you want ahead of time before you root around in the code. There are great resources like the WordPress Support Forums and the Codex that will help you along.

Sorry, guys. First time I’ve “designed” a theme and I got a little bit ornery. I apologize.
