The quote marks used in Finnish differ from those used in English. The reverse curly quotes are not used at the beginning of the quotation, instead the same quotation mark is used for both the beginning and the end. Finnish Quotes is a plugin for WordPress that will modify the curly quotes to adhere to the quote mark rules for Finnish. The opening (“reverse”) curly quotes used in English will be replaced with the closing curly quotes, while other enhancements made by the wptexturize() function are kept as-is.
