I don’t know why the sudden interest in links opening in new windows, but here is yet another WordPress plugin that you can use to add a small checkbox to your template. When checked, any external links on that page will open in a new window.

    I wonder if this conflicts with Googles Adsense terms and conditions.. or does it not open those ads to new windows..

    It shouldn’t, Christopher; the Adsense JavaScript ads the ads (and thus, the links) after PHP has already rendered the page and sent it on its way to the client.
