Wuhan is a great theme, but …
It was originally entered in Alex King’s theme contest and won “Runner-Up.” Unfortunately, the version posted there doesn’t work at all with Internet Explorer.
The author’s web site has an updated version which, it is claimed, works with IE, but there are still problems. The search box in the Header forces all of the links out of the header box. And the spacing in the sidebar is simply a mess with IE.
Unless you relish wading through someone else’s CSS code which is about as much fun as pulling out your fingernails, this theme still needs a little work if you expect any of your visitors to be using IE (25% of mine are). I’ve tweaked it a bit so that it at least looks correct in IE and Firefox and Safari, but the CSS code really needs to be fixed.
If you want to see our new site with the tweaks, visit Tiger Vittles, a new blog for Apple’s Tiger OS.
Ward,
I don’t seem to have such a problem. Here‘s a screenshot of Wuhan in IE.
Let me know if you have any questions. I’ll modify the theme if neccesary.
Thanks!
Meng

The distribution at Alex King’s Theme Competition was apparently missing the critical style-ie.css file.
Sorry for all the fuss. I was not as clear as I should have been that the problems are caused if you use IE on the Mac platform which, believe it or not, folks still use. This is IE 5.2 which is the latest version of IE available on the Mac platform. If you support people who use PCs and Macs, then the theme obviously has to work well for everyone. For a screenshot of how the current Wuhan home page looks using IE on the Mac, here’s a link.
Mac IE was discontinued 3 years ago. Microsoft officially dropped their support of the product last year.
I agree, there are display problems on Mac IE, but out of all 500-800 unique visits I get each day, I have no Mac IE visitors (mostly due to the reason mentioned above).
