This Recent Comments plugin differs from other recent comments plugins in that it groups comments by posts, and applies filters normally before using the comment’s first few words as an excerpt — i.e. you get no bugs when you are using Markdown, for instance.
At your option, you can customize the number of comments to display and the number of words to consider for excerpts.
