B2 – A Classy Weblog Tool

It seems forever and a day since I started my first blog using B2 back in June 2003. At that time B2 had a thriving community surrounding it and the discussion forums read very much like the WordPress forums do today. I don’t know the whole story but apparently official development of B2 ceased and the core code became what we now know today as WordPress.
I received an email from Sigg3 letting me know that even though official development of B2 has ceased, there is grassroots development taking place. The B2 forums were recently hacked and have since been moved to here.
