    I wouldn’t suggest that solution myself because including only an image in your page is only part of the whole advertisement. Instead, there’s a small php script called “adrotate” which includes one random line from a text file. Each line can include HTML code so you can have not only banner advertisement with links and images, but also content blocks such as CSS-based text advertisement so AdMuncher/AdBlock doesn’t remove it (I sometimes include a textblock with “why should you click on advertisement to keep me blogging” or a textblock with other important information. You can also use Flash advertisement this way.
