WordPress Plugin: AJAX Shoutbox plugin

The AJAX Shoutbox plugin will create a shoutbox on your wordpress blog. It uses AJAX, a technology that allows information to be transmitted to the server without the user refreshing the page. Your users can carry out live chats from your blog without having to refresh the page.

The plugin also determines if the user is logged in to WordPress and if so automatically fills in the name in the shoutbox.

This plugin works in IE6/Windows, Firefox, and Safari.
