So it seems like the WordPress community has spoken when it comes to how they want their admin interface to look for the WordPress software.
From OrderedList.com
While I wasn’t paying attention, WP Tiger Admin capped 10,000 downloads sometime last week. I’m proud that so many people have enjoyed the plugin as much as I do.
Not only does this announcement say how far WP Tiger Admin has come, but it tells of the future of the plugin by stating that it will be available when version 1.6 of WordPress is released.
I just wanted to take a second to personally thank Steve Smith of OrderedList for his continuing work on this sexy looking admin panel.
For those that don’t have the Tiger Admin plugin, click here to head on over and download it.

1Actually i tried and used the tiger plugin, and i removed it.
Why, cause it slows thigs down, not the loading but the actual scrolling performance of the page is shocking….after some experimentation, i put it down to the position:fixed; css attribute that is used to imitate the appearance frames.
so i turned the plugin off and now i can scroll up and down at full performance…yaaa’e.
dont get me wrong the toger-os plugin is great and logical, just wish that it didn;t create so much lagg, i have like 512mb of ram and a geforce4 mx440 with 64mb ram so really, this is a css-engine bug, imagine the problems on slower machines….
