Seth Godin’s Blog has an ordered list of points, some contradictory, on how to increase traffic to your blog. They range from simple things like using lists, to more advanced things finding well-known peope to do e-mail interviews with and post them on your blog.
My favourite is number 53, which for most people is the most difficult to follow, but honestly could be some of his best advice on the list: write in Chinese.
It is safe to say that the blogosphere has swung in that direction with the number one blog on the Technorati popular list being a Chinese blog with around nine thousand more sites linking to it than the now second place Boing Boing.
Edit: Fixed link.

3Hi,I am a Chinese blogger. But thing is not like what you said. The No.1 blogger you mentioned is a movie star. It’s rather her fame than her writing skill bring her bandwidth. Writing in Chinese won’t help much ’cause there are too too many bloggers in China. And the number is still rising.

4Thanks Lucifer. I did not know that. Thanks for the details.
Even with all the new bloggers in China, it is still a huge market, and actually its probably larger than almost all other languages for blogging.
