For all of you that used to go to wp-plugins.net to find WordPress plugins, you should check it out again, as they have revamped their site. New design, new coding, and it looks good. I think it still needs a more social approach to really kick it off well, so all of you out there thinking of making a WordPress plugins or theme site, there is still a wide open niche that if done right, you could be bringing in some big traffic.
A few things I noticed about the new wp-plugins.net is that they don’t host the files locally, meaning if a plugin creator has abandoned his site, the download link no longer works and it did not seem like there was a way to contact them to let them know. Oopsies…
Well, the new WordPress Plugin Database still works really well, besides the small things, so check it out.

1nope, it sucks.
difficult to browse. difficult to directly link to a specific plug-in. if you are given a direct link, you have to scroll down in that stupid small window.

3With each improvement and change, I keep hoping they will drop the drop down menus and lousy access. I have to agree, it really sucks. This is one of the best resources for WordPress Plugins and yet the interface gets worse not better. Very sad.
