Boy, developments do come quick. Just a few hours after our earlier post about WebSnapr preview and thumbnail tools, XSBlog has released its Snapr plugin for WordPress. This eliminates the need for a user to manually upload the javascript and image file to the server and define the script paths.
Snapr simply integrates WebSnapr-Script in your Wordpress blog … After downloading … extract copy the complete folder “XSD_Snapr” with all included files into your wordpress plugin directory “/wp-content/plugins/” and activate the plugin in the Admin-area.
To enable WebSnapr Preview Bubble you have to include
class=”previewlink”
in your link. It should look like
<a class=”previewlink” href=”http://url”>linktext</a>
That’s all.
This sure makes life simpler, doesn’t it?

1Great to see your post! Thnx again
Made a second version for all people don’t want to add bubbles manually to links. The new version adds automatically bubbles to ALL external links.
Best regards.

2Thanks for the note, XSized. I was wondering if that’s also possible. If that’s the case, would there be a way to define the link’s class so it does not have previews?

3Will check if there is a way to do this. Have to do some work on version 1.1 because it does not work with PHP4. I know now
