Over at ZenPhotoThemes, there is a group of themes that are all three columns wide, and are lightweight, and easy to use for just about any role.

PurpleCrunch, BlueCrunch, GreenCrunch, BlackCrunch as well as Tech-O-Crunch are all similar in design and appearance other than a slight graphical and color shift.

One of the most noticeable things about the design is that the middle column allows for a great avertisement placement. Good stuff from ZenPhotoThemes.
