Letting me know through a comment on BloggingPro, Thord has launched a new site called BloggerTalks. They are going around doing interviews on various bloggers. They already have two interviews up, including one from Liz Strauss of Successful Blog and John Evans of Syntagma Media. Not too bad for a site that hadn’t even launched yet.
Bloggertalks is a blog about bloggers who matter, what they do and their experiences. We’re acting as the middle man here, talking to them and doing interviews, so that you - the dear reader - can learn. Twice a week.
Our goal is to tell the stories of all the successful bloggers out there, and the companies and services that revolve around them. Not all of them make a lot of money, but sometimes you can get rich in other ways and we’re acknowledging that.
BloggerTalks seems to mark the start of the Pale Portal network. As Thord mentions sites two and three are going to go up soon.

1Hey, thanks for the post David! I like your work here so what better place to namedrop than in a comment, eh?
Anyway, yeah, there’ll be a network, but it felt a little weak to launch it with just one site so I’ll hold it off until the next two sites, or perhaps three, goes online.

3Launches is always scary. First you have the technical aspects, then you have the “will people like it?” shakes, and when you’re finally online you’re praying someone will stop by. Been there, done that dozen of times in Sweden.
Doing it for the whole world is even scarier. I’m glad I’ve gotten the response I have so far, and that people like you are kind enough to give some much needed space for my, well, rather this, project.

And I agree on the scary thing. David Krug has a great post about Blog Networks on CelebrityCowboy I am going to post about in a minute.

Yeah, I think he nailed quite a few things there. It’ll be interesting to see what you’ll add. Yes, I’m gathering how-to’s on this like a sponge, or something like that.
