The story is the same here, we were appearing on the first page at one 1 of google under generic search terms, however but now we have suddenly dropped to page 5, a big jump i guess, whatever search term we now try to search on google we will apear on page 5,, realy not sure what has happened here, any comments welcome.

Yeah, my website was listed on the top of the second page and I was getting alot of traffic. Then suddenly the next month I’m ranked at 400. I’m trying to figure it out.

My site has dropped from occasional 5, many 4s to 0.
Only happened within the last week too I think.

I noticed that I seem to have lost a couple of thousand links in Yahoo! -
will this have any effect in Google’s PR?

Personally, I can’t wait for the next update, but that’s because I have recently launched sites under my belt. It’s a great post and good advice, really. I picked it up for The Blog Herald as well. Then again, what would you expect from Darren, other than great advice?
