BloggingPro Design Shift

No, you aren’t going crazy, we have made some major tweaks to the design once again, though not as major as last time, this new design should improve readability among other things. I want to again thank Elena of DesignDisease, and hope you’ll all join me in welcoming the new design.

I don’t know about all of you, but I love the new comments button.

Very nice. Great use of the the leaderboard and the buttons at the top. Two things: Add 10 px padding-left to the title and the post info so they do not crash into the vertical bar, and reduce the number of posts in the index page to bring the footer into having a chance of being seen. Otherwise, extend the sidebar background color down to the footer to attract attention to it. I almost missed it.

I think Blogging Pro is now setting the standard on how blogs should be designed.

BloggingPro looked great in the first place, but I like the clean style that you’ve veered towards to the right. Nice.

I’m not so happy with the footer though, that’s a blue overdose if you ask me, but maybe I’ll get used to it. Or maybe I’m just picky, that might be it. ;)

You’ll want to style the subscribe to comments field though, the checkbox ends up above the notify text.

    Good work!

Another very good design. I know it won’t happen, but you could convert this design into WordPress theme. Or the previous one. =p
