When you create a service for people to use, it is always great when people leave nice reviews of what you have created, so Matt and Automattic must be very happy to see Robert Scoble singing its praises.
I just took a short nap. About an hour and a half.
While I was sleeping on the couch Akismet blocked 453 spams from getting into my comments here.
I’m getting more than 10,000 comment spams on some days. It’s really amazing how good a job Akismet does.
If you haven’t tried Akismet, which can now work on a variety of different applications, including of course WordPress, then you should.

And no, I don’t get thousands of spam comments. But a few hundreds is enough for me ….

2Do you know how unloved that makes me feel that someone is getting 10,000 comment spams in a day compared to my 100 or so? That should be the new basis for blog metrics. Forget, Alexa stats, Google PageRank, Technorati links. Comment spams is the new black.
