Telecommuting only works if you can get yourself motivated without having to have someone looking over your shoulder. I also don't think that telecommuting could "kill" our careers as bloggers or writers. I think it might be a problem in some larger companies that are stuck in a more "old fashioned" way of doing business, but our career choice is one that I don't think can be affected by not having "face time".
