One of the hardest parts of personal branding in my opinion, is the logo. A logo can decide what people think of you, as a professional logo can say volumes about a person, brand, or site. Bloggers far too often forget that a logo can help brand them. Our logo here at Blogging Pro is simple, but I think effective. I am currently redesigning my personal site, to include a logo, and this has been slow and difficult, as I am no designer, but on E Logo Design, they have compiled a link list of 50 logo design tutorials that might help you create the logo you have always wanted.

1The logo shapes the rest of the website and brand image. Once you have created a logo, you can leverage it for any other piece of marketing collateral you might create.

2That hardest part (for me) in designing a logo, is that it has to scale to size, so I need both a raster and a vector format.
Also it has to look just as good with minimal colors (single color for print, 2-3 colors for embroidery).
I actually have different elements removed from my main logos for different formats: my business cards and letterheads are different than my web banner logo which is still different than the logo used for vinyl decals and large banners.
