With a new version of the WordPress.org software coming out tomorrow, WordPress.com users might have been feeling left behind, but no longer, as WordPress.com now includes tagging support.
While the folks over at WordPress.com have admitted that they have used tags and categories interchangeable over on their hosted blog system, they have since given in to the masses and agreed that tags and categories are not really the same thing and have added the same tagging system we can expect in the WordPress 2.3 releasing coming out tomorrow.
They end the post with this quote:
This is just the first step, we have some pretty exciting tag-related things coming in the future, so stay tuned.
