I always easier, better quality, and correct to write something we are passionate about. The passion to know everything, searching on internet, and like you said “writing about what you love is more fun.”

It’s definitely better to stick to subjects we are passionate about. This way, we won’t run out of ideas so easily. And readers will be able to ‘feel’ the passion in the writings.

I absolutely concurr with David.The added advantage of blogging on what inspires you the most is you derive pleasure from doing it.While many pro bloggers aim at monetizing their blogs theirs is not a blind desire but is tempered with passion for what one desires .

Whereas I stick to my own topic on my own blog, as a professional writer I beg to differ slightly on the topic of writing on what you are only comfortable with. As a writer my job is to deliver content for which my client pays. As long as I don’t have an ideological or ethical problem with the topic I don’t mind writing on subjects I’m not comfortable with. But then, we all have our own ways of looking at our jobs.

One of the things I adore about you, David, is that you get it. A lot of people don’t get it, and I feel like sometimes we’re preaching to the choir and not getting through the ones who need to hear what we have to say. They just don’t get the point.
