have also written an Wordpress plugin that integrated OpenX and your RSS feed. The plugin displays your ads served from OpenX in your RSS feed. So you get stats and ease of management all-in-one.

There are free ad servers but data sharing, cross-selling and other restrictions, it might not be an attractive solution as you thought. An independent solution where you have control of your data and have no conflict of interests.

When every I start a new blog. I always set up OpenX as the ad servering software for the site. It is simply to install, easy to setup and manage and it’s free

I have also written an Wordpress plugin that integrated OpenX and your RSS feed. The plugin displays your ads served from OpenX in your RSS feed. So you get stats and ease of management all-in-one.

Also, if you have multiple blogs you can run all your ads from one OpenX installation. I personally don’t do this but, you can.
