Sponsored review – Netklix Online Advertising

Pay-per-click (PPC), that’s the game that most advertisement-driven blogs are playing these days.  The general idea is you make money NOT when an ad is displayed in your blogs BUT WHEN people actually click those ads and jump off from your blog to your advertiser’s website.  Oh I remember the days when they’d pay just to have their ads displayed, but since “display” doesn’t equate to actual service on the internet, your blog visitors need to click before you get the ad money.

The largest player in PPC is, of course, Google AdSense.  I’m sure you’ve seen them in prime area lots of your favorite blogs.  It’s a stable resource… and I’ve heard people get by (some actually hitting it big time) just by putting Google AdSense live on their websites.

Now not quite new, but relatively a little less popular than Google AdSense is … Netklix.  It operates on a similar Pay Per Click business model as Google AdSense. What is a little different though is that Netklix seems to have a cleaner interface than to Google AdSense.  After you successfully create a free account you’d notice that the “dashboard” is well arranged for you.  And because you’d visit it to know how many revenue you have generated, a quick revenue summary box is conveniently located for you to know right away.

Oh I’m getting ahead of myself, let me share with you a little history of Netklix.  Founded in 1999 as an CPA Network, it is now a powerful contender in the PPC advertising industry after migrating to Pay Per Click last summer. To this date it offers a strong alternative against Google Adsense in terms of advertiser and publisher website volume.  Yes their network has grown significantly since 1999.

Today, they’ve recently launched Netklix 2.0.  It is a brand new PPC advertising network offering low cost online advertising opportunities to PPC Advertisers, both large and small.

Using the Netklix 2.0 interface is very easy, all you need to do is click through the much-organized online setup guide and you’re done… really!  From the setup guide you can quickly create your own personal account, your bank details and a straightforward way of designing your Netklix ad box for your site.  Yes, they’ve thought of providing for you a way to customize the Netklix ad box design to suit your website/blog design.  Hey be it the border color, the background color, headline, text and display URL colors… you’ve got it.  And when you’re done you’d see from the preview that it’s not a sore thumb at all as you completely control the ad box design.

Ok, now aside from the Netklix interface being really workable, what can it actually do for a website owner/publisher?  Ah, you’re asking for the money eh?  Ok, let me share with you a little more.

For PPC to be successful you must actually think with the end in mind.  Imagine you are a website visitor, you are reading something about say plants.  Since plants interest you, wouldn’t it make sense if all areas of the page you are viewing are about plants?  Even advertisements need to be “plant-related” too?  Now that completes the presentation doesn’t it?  With Netklix you get the following:

• The choice of content channels means relevant advertisers on your site

• You can create your own ads so they blend well with your site

Netklix actually has channels you can subscribe too so IF your site is about plants, you CAN choose to just advertise about plant products or services.  These would be say like advertisements about yard supply, garden tools, plant food, fertilizer, weed repellents, sunglasses, garden gloves and the like.  That way, the text Ads you show match your sites content perfectly!

So okay… let me give you the sign up process for a Netklix account in 4 easy steps:

  1. Create an ad space – this is where you put your initial user information and design your actual Netklix ad box.
  2. Target ad space – this is where you choose which advertisements go out on your blog.  Truly customizeable too.  You’re not limited to one channel even, you can combine several channels that you feel would best suit your blog.
  3. Create account – this is where you tell Netklix where to send the PPC funds to.  This would be your bank account + the currency you would want to be paid in.
  4. Activate account – this is where you verify all your details and click all the “terms and conditions” of your Netklix account.

This is the real deal folks.  Now I’m not saying you’d better drop your Google AdSense contracts or anything drastic.  All I’m saying here is that here’s a competent player in the PPC industry.  You might want to try out NetKlix on some of your blogs to actually to see if it’s viable in “your world”.

I think Ad Click Media is one of the best as an alternative. I used many of pay per click engins but I think Adclick Media is the best. You will get at least %50 of revenue paid to Adclickmedia and you can change your publisher credit to Advertiser credit! Very nice opportunity! :)
