i think they should have pushed PubSubHubbub, it seems to be better (atom+rss), more supported and and overall a better implementation or real time xml…

I got this post just fine in my RSS reader, and the great thing about text is that it stays there. I don’t want to feel rushed to ‘keep up’ with posts. I consider RSS to be a list of things I could read that I probably found something useful/interesting rather than just searching Google. I’ve made it a point to not to register for twitter, and only visit Facebook about once a week. I don’t see a reason for everyone to need a 24/7 tap into the internet, and I like to think I get along by just checking in once in awhile.
