Niche blogging is one of the best ways to make your mark online. There are so many blogs out there that it really is difficult to stand out – I guess I’m preaching to the choir here – but if you are a fitness enthusiast, and you really want to get out there and make yourself known, it’s a good time to dive into the waters.
Fitness blogging has exploded in recent times, also because the awareness of the topic has increased in general. Additionally, health and fitness gurus know that they have a huge market, and they have taken advantage of the easy access that blogging has provided them. If you’re looking at entering the fitness blogging niche, or you simply want to read the best fitness bloggers out there, here is a list where you won’t go wrong.
Take note – this does not mean you don’t have to go to a fitness center anymore. In fact, many of these bloggers won’t advise against that. It’s more like these bloggers get to the core of things and empower the average person to get serious about their health.
The word play is obviously delightful, but more than that, fitness bloggers Jennipher Walters and Erin Whitehead know what they’re talking about. The co-founders have a solid background in the niche, with the former having credentials such as: ACE-certified personal trainer, health coach, and advanced health and fitness specialist, and an AFAA-certified group exercise instructor. They have also expanded their roster to other bloggers, making this site a treasure trove of fitness information for “real girls”.
Adam Bornstein had made a name for himself in the fitness niche even before this blog was born, and if you want to follow one of the best fitness bloggers, this blog is your best bet. His name may be familiar – that’s because you probably saw it on Men’s Health or the NYT. Or you might even have seen him on TV. It doesn’t matter where you know him from, though, or even if you don’t, this guy is the real deal. His goal? “To transform your body and help you live the life you want.”
They say women are the weaker of the species. That may hold some physiological truth, but it doesn’t mean women can’t be strong, and that’s what bloggers Alli, Molly, and Neghar are all about. If you want to go beyond the usual limits (for women), this blog is for you.
Who says nerds can’t be fit? Steve is the brains behind this blog, and his goal is to help desk jockeys, nerds, and average Joes level up their lives. You don’t have to be a nerd to take advantage of this fitness blog.
If it’s a one-stop shop fitness blog you’re looking for, then Tara Parker-Pope’s baby is where you should go. Not only does it have the NYT label tacked onto it for credibility, but it also covers such a wide range of topics, taking health and fitness to a very broad level. I didn’t say one-stop shop for nothing!
With these 5 fitness bloggers (and their teams), you are sure to find inspiration. Whether that’s to start your own blog or to get in shape, that’s up to you!
