    Factually incorrect.

    Google demotes pages that host spam, they don’t “block” them, and only after a significant amount of spam. The reasoning is that the webmaster is neglecting to clean up spam, and is giving the visitor a worse search experience as a result. This is part of the ranking system, and it doesn’t mess up Google. They can handle a little blog comment spam.

    Serious spammers use random IPs, while blocking IPs may get rid of them for a short time, it will ultimately prevent legitimate comments from being posted. Spammers are also notorious for hijacking other people’s IP addresses. But as a short-term emergency solution, you can try it.visit our site
