The WordPress book receiving most coverage in 2009 was probably Digging Into WordPress, by Chris Coyier and Jeff Starr.
In December 2009, shortly after publication I had the opportunity to interview Chris and Jeff. The book was initially launched as an ebook for $27 and later a print version with spiral bind was released as well. Printed and bound in house by family, thus sadly checking in at the rather expensive price of $67. More on the price later though.

When I was initially offered the possibility to review WordPress In Depth by Bud Smith and Michael McCallister (@workingwriter), I was sceptic. First the title of the book wasn’t disclosed by the publisher and when, a quick Google search brought me to an Amazon title by two for me unknown within the WordPress scene authors and heck, the cover even didn’t have a WordPress logo.
Little did I know that I was about to discover a book I was going to recommend to people and even would become my new reference book for a certain group of WordPress users.

Squarespace has done a phenominal job in creating an official iPhone app for their users, one which may make Blogger guru’s and WordPress disciples jealous.
While it supports the basics of iBlogging (photo uploading, categories & tags, drafts, editing previous posts, etc.), the Squarespace app also boasts a few extra notable features that make it shine against it’s rival blogging apps. Read More
