ONE64 is a magazine theme with a host of features sure to make an impact for your website.
The layout is very wide, but not fluid. There are 5 different color schemes: orange with bokeh effect background, minimal grey pink, light blue and violet, carbon, and recycled. On the homepage you can display either a Canvas, Nivo, Rotator, or Accordion slider, and below it arrange the layout using widget areas and shortcodes. Posts can also be displayed not just by category but by tags.
Another key feature that enhances the magazine publishing aspect of the theme is the “column splitter”, which lets you quickly layout the content of posts and pages into multiple columns with specific widths each. Aside from that, you can choose from 4 blog layouts and 3 post formats each with variations on their presentation. Other built in templates include a Website contributors page, a couple of gallery formats, tags displayed as an index, archives, and a contact page.
Images use the built-in WordPress thumbnail system, not TimThumb and support lightbox integration; You can embed videos seamlessly from YouTube, Vimeo, Screenr, DailyMotion, Snotr, and Metacafe. For your headlines, choose from 18 different Cufon fonts, or just paste in your Google web font URL of choice.
There are more than a whopping 35 custom widgets included, from breadcrumbs to social buttons to testimonials and more. Each one has a shortcode generator so it’s easy to copy paste them into posts and pages. As for the shortcodes themselves, choose from: custom and random post lists, videos, Facebook, Google charts, callouts, lightbox, and more. The theme also includes 200 icons from Glyphish.
