We are looking for part time quality writers to write original articles documenting their experiences travelling to different destinations with kids and family. We have a website about travelling with kids (totsandtravel.com), and we are looking to increase the content on the site.
This is a work from home opportunity as an independent contractor, and initially you would be paid $15 for each article that you produce. This can be increased later depending on the quality of your work and our budget.
The articles must be original content (absolutely no plagiarism), be between 1 to 2 pages long (about 1,000 words give or take), and include at least 1 picture from your family travels (preferably more). The pictures are not required to show you or your family members in them, but they should be related in some way to the article, like pictures of the hotel, resort, restaurant, or other places you visited. Certain articles with more general information about travelling or about kids can be exempt from the need to provide pictures.
If you have a computer with an Internet connection, a lifetime of memories travelling with family and/or young kids, and pictures of these experiences that you can bundle into a quality article, then you are our candidate! We've found that work-from-home moms or dads make the best candidates for this job, but it's available to anyone with the writing skills and lifetime experiences needed to create informative and engaging quality articles.
In most cases you can write multiple articles about a single trip by covering multiple sections of the trip separately and in more detail. This can be done by breaking it up and focusing on some of the activities in which you participated, or points of interest that you visited like restaurants, dinner cruises, amusement parks, etc. You or your family member's first and last names can be changed to protect the guilty, but the stories much be engaging, entertaining, and informative with as much detail as possible (names of cities, states, countries, hotels, restaurants, businesses, etc). Some research may be necessary to make sure names and places are accurate. You can write about the places you visited and perhaps how well suited it would be for young children, or just general issues you've faced when travelling with family and children. Topics can vary. For instance, a review on accessories that facilitate travel with babies/toddlers would be great, or you can write a review about a certain hotel and how they rate on the kid/baby friendly scale.
In order to determine if you qualify, we would need you to submit a sample of your writing by providing us with a detailed explanation of why you feel you are best suited for this project.
