SMG Publishing is the publisher of business to business trade magazines. Corporate executives have come to rely on us to help them stay competitive in their own markets. Every month, we profile dozens of successful companies and business leaders.
We are currently looking for a talented freelance writer who is business bilingual in Spanish and English. The ideal candidate will have experience interviewing business executives in Spanish and writing profiles about successful companies in North America and Latin America. This is a freelance opporunity.
Qualifications:
Detail and deadline oriented
Fluent in both English and Spanish – speaking, reading, and writing
Ability to translate articles from Spanish to English and vice versa
Experience speaking with business executives of Spanish speaking companies
At least 2 years of reporting or editing experience, preferably in business media
We offer:
Flat rate per story (average 750-800 words)
