CBSNews.com is looking for a full-time freelance writer/editor in New York City to help launch a new blog focused on cars. The person in this position will handle producing and editing blog posts and slideshows, and will have a hand in the production of video.
Candidates must be passionate and knowledgeable about cars and the automobile industry. They need a strong eye for detail with the ability to generate interesting angles on trends and breaking news. Candidates also need to have a firm grasp of CBS News standards and a strong journalistic background. A keen eye for what works in the digital space and a willingness to experiment are a must.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience writing and/or editing copy
- Experience covering the automobile industry
- BA in Communications, English, Journalism or related field
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
