Manage copy for brand across customer-facing marketing communications in retail and e-commerce channels
Developing creative brand copy for retail signage, direct mail pieces, emails, e-commerce landing pages and merchant/product pages
Partner with design and merchant teams to develop seasonal themes and brand copy surrounding each fashion delivery, which will be leveraged across departments and business channels
Manage freelance copywriters who write and develop product copy for e-commerce profiles
Develop product copy for beauty and fragrance collections (may include product naming and trademark investigation in partnership with legal, packaging copy, and romance copy)
Proof public relations press release copy
Provide assistance to marketing and PR team for brand copy that may include brand presentations, corporate communications, executive talking points, social media, or other PR/marketing materials
Cross functional partners include: retail team (including retail marketing director), e-commerce team (including e-commerce marketing director and e-commerce merchants), creative team (including director of graphics and creative services), PR team (including PR director), international team (including director of international marketing)
QUALIFICATIONS:


MUST HAVE:

· Excellent written communication skills (both creative ability and technical knowledge of English language grammar)

· High degree of organization and prioritization to manage many projects simultaneously

· Ability to adhere to deadlines

· Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment

· Passion for brand and ability to connect with the customer

· Love of fashion and awareness of current trends to deliver aspirational, creative, evocative, and trend-forward brand copy

· Previous experience in copy with fashion/beauty brands or editorial experience at a fashion/beauty magazine a must

· 5 – 10 years relevant or related experience required

· Writing samples required
