The Suit Magazine seeks experienced, freelance editors. You must be grammatically skilled, able to "punch-up" Headlines and Story Titles, and pay very close attention to detail. You have an option of working remotely or in-house, as long as you meet our deadlines.
You will be tasked with assisting our production manager and creative director with the production flow of each issue, both the print and digital versions, and develop, edit, and writes content as needed.
Candidates should have experience in both print and online media, and in print magazines specifically. Must have a minimum of 5-8+ years writing, editing, and developing business-focused content for consumer publications and media, with emphasis on small to medium size business in all verticals. Familiarity with print magazine production as well as website content publishing processes, including SEO and other meta data essential for online material a PLUS. Some project management experience a PLUS. Solid writing, editing, and proofreading skills a must, with attention to detail. Must be a self-starter, motivated, and comfortable juggling multiple needs and deadlines at once.
We will pay PER WORD. Usual load is roughly 15k - 20k words per month. You MUST state how much PER WORD you charge.
