We are currently seeking a hands-on, energetic fashion editor to produce the entire front of book fashion section (Stylista), style the feature-well fashion story, and develop fun new ideas and concepts.

This position is freelance, approximately 10 weeks of work spread out over 4 months.


* Pitch and develop unique, Latina-centric ideas for fashion
* Stay abreast of Latino fashion trends, designers and bloggers
* Manage key editorial relationships and contacts, including attending relevant events

* Track record of excellence and leadership in editorial
* At least two years of experience at an established publication
* Strong industry contacts in the luxury and contemporary markets
* Experience managing editors/writers
* Experience managing digital publishing
* Knowledge of Latino designers, both established and emerging
* A strong understanding of the Cosmo brand, voice and style, and the ability to spot, write and edit it
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, including managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
* A sharp sense of humor
* An obsession to find perfection
* Persistence and curiosity

3. What would you add or subtract from Cosmo for Latinas as it appears now?
