ECT News Network seeks an experienced freelance reporter to work on very tight deadlines, Monday through Friday, covering news for one or more of our online technology publications:
- E-Commerce Times (EcommerceTimes.com)
- TechNewsWorld (TechNewsWorld.com)
- LinuxInsider (LinuxInsider.com)
- CRM Buyer (CRMBuyer.com)
- MacNewsWorld (MacNewsWorld.com)
Daily tech reporting experience is required; a journalism degree is preferred.
The successful candidate will be able to chase down facts, interview sources, and write a stylish 600-word story for a savvy audience of C-Level executives, IT professionals and consumer electronics enthusiasts in less than three hours.
We're looking for a versatile reporter experienced in using the latest social media tools and mobile devices.
A substantial network of contacts is essential. Every story requires original quotes from at least two tech industry analysts, company representatives or other experts.
Compensation is $60 per article. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. and have a U.S. Social Security or Taxpayer Identification Number and a U.S. bank account.
