Description
Naylor, LLC, is looking for freelance editors with high-quality editorial and project management experience to augment our editorial team. We are seeking individuals with expertise in particular industries. A Naylor editor serves as a primary contact with the company's association partners for the creation of print and electronic projects (magazines, membership directories, buyers' guides). The editor plays a critical role to ensure a positive experience for the association and to coordinate with Naylor's production team to ensure project timeliness and to meet or exceed the association’s expectations. Freelance editors may work on one project or multiple projects simultaneously.
Freelance editors may be located anywhere in the U.S. We have offices in Gainesville, FL; Atlanta, GA; and Fairfax, VA.
QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field. • At least two years of editing and/or print project management or related experience; more experience preferred. • Demonstrated effective writing and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and manage time well. • Freelance editors must have a working home office and be available via email and phone as needed.
