Description
The Center for Educational Innovation-Public Education Association (CEI-PEA), a non-profit organization, is seeking freelance bloggers with experience in K-12 education and charter schools to write articles for the Charter Notebook, the online blog of the Network of Independent Charter Schools. This part-time, contract position will require a blogger to produce one article or blog each month about current issues in education, instruction, curriculum, administration, school finance, charter school governance and/or other relevant topics. The target audience for these articles and blogs consists of teachers, principals, trustees, parents and others in the independent charter school community. Candidates should have excellent writing skills and knowledge of educational issues related to independent charter schools. Current or prior experience as a charter school teacher, principal, administrator or trustee is considered especially relevant, as is expertise in specific instructional, administrative, operational or governance issues as they relate to independent charter schools. Compensation is per article/blog.
