Description
Hilltop Times is looking for a part-time Writer. Responsibilites include covering events, assembling information and completing stories in a timely manner for the Hilltop Times, the weekly military newspaper at Hill Air Force Base. Applicants will need to possess editing skills and be able to take occasional photos suitable for publication. Some administrative duties are required and the writer will need to be able to work independently, follow directions from and assist the editor, and coordinate with public affairs and staff at the base. Pagination/newspaper design skills and familiarity with Indesign will be an advantage for consideration. Hilltop Times is published by Ogden Publishing and works closely with 75th Public Affairs leadership on content and story choice. Those interested will need reliable transportation to use on base and will be required to pass a background check.
