BestNewBands.com, the online home for news, reviews and interviews of top emerging artists, is looking to expand its editorial staff.

We have two types of positions open.

Freelance Writers are responsible for a minimum of two posts every week and are paid a modest amount.

Contributors are responsible for a minimum of one post every two weeks. Contributors are not compensated.

The posts should be a minimum of 500 words and be a combination of text, photos, and video. We're looking for concert and album previews and reviews, interviews with pre-approved up-and-coming bands and artists, exclusive news, profiles of artists to watch, and more.

Applicants must have experience writing for either a print outlet (magazine or newspaper) and/or a website. Internships do qualify as experience, as long as you had original content published.

We prefer that our writers be over 21, since so many of the shows we cover happen in bars and 21+ clubs, but we will consider applications from under-aged hopefuls who are particularly tenacious and have great ideas for content that won't require sneaking past a bouncer.

We help our writers and contributors get on the list for shows and arrange interviews with artists. All of our writers and contributors receive a byline on each post and a profile on our site, with a link on our home page.
