Description
USA TODAY Premium Publications is seeking freelance writers and photographers for its upcoming tab product on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. We’re looking for experienced journalists who can write in a conversational, accessible style about topics ranging from climate change to drought control to construction to STEM, and who can find the human angle in sometimes-complicated stories. Photographers must be able to shoot magazine-quality work. This will be a general-interest magazine with a tone and subject matter that appeal to people outside the trade. Pieces range from 200 to 1,200 words, and fees begin at $300.
