Description
NBC 4 New York, the NBC Owned station located in New York, is seeking to build a pool of go-to freelance talented graphic designers with a solid background in television production. Must have excellent design taste and be able to work on a variety of projects. Responsibilities include graphic design for News, Programming and Promotion, including animated elements for on-air graphic packages, on-air promos, print and digital assets . Photography, set design and Chyron experience a major plus. Must work in a fast paced News environment. You should be able to work creatively, efficiently and possess a great attention to detail. You should be able to work with the entire team to maintain design standards for the overall brand. This position could be dayside or night-side, one day or per project basis.
Basic Qualifications:
Degree in graphic design or relevant work experience
Minimum four years of broadcast experience
Advance skills in broadcast design, demonstrating strong creative and art direction abilities
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (AE, Photoshop, Illustrator)
.Strong knowledge of 3D application (Cinema 4D)
Knowledge of FCP
Understanding of broadcast workflow
Exceptional sense of design and typography
