LIKEABLE MEDIA is an award-winning social media marketing agency with headquarters in NYC, and offices in Boston. We are seeking a freelance Graphic Designer to join our collaborative team of social and digital strategists, designers, and developers. REPORTS TO:
Creative Director
DESCRIPTION:
- The Designer will have a collaborative spirit, integrating requirements and feedback from the creative director, account team, and developers.
- Design and produce web projects requiring high-level web design experience with a focus on visual design, navigation, usability and brand identity
- deliver work in a timely manner, mindful of budget and technology constraints
- innovate; solve design problems
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of design experience for digital/online/social spaces
- track record of clean, functional and on-brand design, demonstrated in an online portfolio
-Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color and page layout, and a great eye for detail
- solid understanding of web design best practices and latest web design trends / technologies
- Expertise in designing for social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and others
- excellent written and spoken communication skills
- mastery of digital design toolbox: Photoshop, Illustrator
- Knowledge of CMS platforms on Facebook, BuddyMedia, Involver, Shortstack, HTML a plus
- Proven ability to work closely with programmers and client teams throughout all stages of the product cycle
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines for multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work independently
- Passion for innovation and keeping up with the latest web technology trends
