Description
New online news site (still forming) needs Denver-based freelance feature writers to profile area health professionals. Will pay $100 per assigned profile. You will need to interview each story subject (ideally in person - but phone interviews are acceptable.) In most cases, only one interview is required to complete the profile.
We are writing these profiles for other health professionals - not for consumers. Articles will run about 500 words in length.
We buy all rights, not just first publication rights.
This is a great opportunity for veteran feature writers to pick up some extra cash or for young journalists to build some quality clips. What counts is the ability to tell a good, original and accurate tale well.
We will recommend health professionals for you to profile. It will be your job to contact them, explain our news site, and secure an interview. Good candidates can expect one assignment (on average) per week.
