Job Board >> Love AMC shows... TWD, HOW, BB? Write about them!
|Company Name||News For Shoppers|
|Date Posted||21, Monday 2013|
|Listing Type||Monthly Rate|
You'll need to able to write - with authority and expertise - about the latest shows.... not straight-up recaps, but more along the lines of talking about the show afterwards, providing analysis, perspective, ideas, clarification and background of what's going on. Things people want to know and learn more about after the show.
But that's not all, you would also let readers know about activities going on around the show - when shows are available on AMC's site or Netflix, when AMC is having marathons or specials, news about special webisodes, games, contests, etc. All the news that fans of the shows want to know.
I'd prefer a real AMC show guru. Someone that already reads blogs on AMC shows, participates in AMC forums and chat, and is familiar with the games and extras things available.
Note though that you would not be promoting AMC and their shows - we don't need to sell people on watching them. You are writing to fans and can be positive or negative about whatever is going on.
If you are also familiar with seo and adsense - you will be ahead of the curve. If you aren't, I'll teach you.
You will be writing for an approved Google News and Bing News source. Our stories appear on the search engines within minutes of publication. We do a 50% revenue share on articles using Google AdSense. How much you make is up to you - great, useful, fresh content that really connects to readers earns great money, but it's up to you to be self-motivated and to get out there and do it.
Great English grammar is required - it's difficult to write well enough for our site if English is not your first language.
PS: you would need to be able to access a feed on the east coast so you can report on shows in a timely manner.
