WyzAnt, Inc. is an innovative education company specializing in matching students with qualified, private tutors. Our national network of tutors and students is expanding rapidly creating a tremendous amount of user-generated content that must be reviewed on a daily basis. We are currently looking to hire skilled proofreaders to assist in reviewing this content in a part-time capacity. The majority of hours can be worked from home with flexible scheduling.
Job Opportunity: Part-time website content proofreader
Hours: 15-25 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible but will require some weekend availability. Applicants will be required to work on-site from our Bucktown office one day each week. All other hours maybe worked remotely.
Primary Responsibilities: All new hires will be asked to carefully review and edit tutor registrations, subject certifications, profile updates, and other related content submitted by users to be posted on the WyzAnt website. All content must meet quality standards including proper spelling, grammar and syntax in addition to company-specific guidelines.
Requirements: Applicant must have an excellent command of the English language and all grammatical rules. The position requires careful attention to detail and the ability to thoroughly review large amounts of content in an efficient manner. Applicants should display a firm grasp of basic computer and keyboarding skills.
Compensation: $11.00/hour
