Are you an experienced technology journalist with a solid grasp of topics like core servers, visual displays, analytics, connectivity, and systems architecture? Do you have a passion for new media and building communities?
We have immediate openings for freelance writers who can produce thought-provoking blogs that capture the interest of IT professionals working in banking, marketing, retail, and general business. (We have openings at BusinessAgility.com and two new sites that will launch in January. Writers may work at any/all of the sites.) The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
• At least five years of experience covering technology, including enterprise systems (required);
• Knowledge of banking, retail, marketing and/or general business (helpful);
• The knack for explaining complex technologies in clear prose;
• A passion for new media, including online communities;
• A deep dedication to journalistic ethics, courtesy, and wit.

You’ll be working with BusinessAgility.com and other new sites launched by DeusM, a division of UBM TechWeb that produces award-winning sites such as Internet Evolution, Enterprise Efficiency, Investor Uprising, and The CMO Site. DeusM, named for the classical theatre term Deus ex machina, specializes in the use of proprietary high-value content and Web 2.0 technology to attract highly qualified audiences to its communities.
